Creative cloud installs both 32 and 64 bit Photoshop and Illustrator apps. Do I need both or can I just uninstall the 32 bit without issue?

Thanks,

How to download and install Lightroom CC (2015)?

$

I purchased

Creative Cloud Photography plan (one-year)

Last year, using the creative cloud downloader, I installed Lightroom CC (2015). It works great.

Yesterday, I tried to install it on my laptop. It said, "you do not meet the minimum requirements". And then I noticed that it's a 2017 version for Windows 10. Well, I'm running Windows 7 and I'm not going to upgrade to Windows 10 anytime soon.

Can someone please explain how I can install Lightroom CC (2015)?

I tried a few things:

1) If I "manage account" and click download Lightroom - "you do not meet the minimum requirements" - it wants Windows 10 and I'm not doing that.

2) If I "manage account" and click download Lightroom Classic - it isn't the same as LIghtroom CC (2015). I don't see an option for Lightroom CC (2015).

3) In Adobe Desktop Service. On my desktop that I installed last year. I can see Lightroom CC (2015) under "installed apps". However, when I click on "ALL APP" it isn't listed.

4) In Adobe Desktop Service. On my laptop. I can't see Lightroom CC (2015) under "installed apps" or under "ALL APPS" - it isn't listed.

In general, what the heck is going on here with the versions? There are too many and the downloader makes it confusing vs what I paid for last year and the version I've been using isn't listed anymore.

For example, here are a bunch of versions that I've encountered while attempting to figure this out:

lightroom-6

lightroom-cc

lightroom-classic

lightroom-2015

lightroom

Man that's confusing! Did the (2015) version get renamed or something?

I'm stumped.

Thanks

How can I update my Lightroom 6 to 6.14? There is a error message

Good afternoon!

I'm new here and I hope someone will help me. Thanks in advance for your time!

I have the perpetual Lightroom 6  for Windows (the old version of Lightroom CC). I have to update it at the last version 6.14 | 382 MB | but I can't do it because everytime I try, Windows told me that there is an error:

"Adobe Application Manager colud be damage. Download and install a new Adobe Application Manager."

If I try to download another Adobe Application Manager, my PC told me that I have the last version of "Creative Cloud" in my Desktop. The pc opens automatically Creative Cloud and it show me that I have 2 app for Lightroom to update but they are for CC versions that I haven't!

I only want to update my old desktop Lightroom 6, not to buy the new CC

In my Adobe account, in Plans and Products, I have the "Adobe ID code". How can I do? I have bought a new Canon 6D mark II, my Lithroom can't read my RAW and I have to work my raw for some clients!

Thanks

Elisa

Few weeks ago I installed Lightroom in Photography Plan. After maybe two days I reinstalled Windows and when I was trying to install again Creative Cloud there was only empty window, without any progress. I was trying to solve it a dozen times. Help.

I've tried several times over the last few days to download the creative cloud desktop app. It gets to about 10% every time and then I get Error Code 207 "We've encountered the following issues: The server is not responding currently. Please try again after some time."  I also turned off my firewall and tried again but that didn't work either. I'm using Windows 7.

Must Constantly Reinstall/Repair Creative Cloud

I installed Adobe Creative Cloud. At first, every time I launch it, I received a message stating that the app was damaged. I would click "Repair" to continue.

A reinstall would process, and the error would disappear - only to reappear an hour or so later.

Finally, the repairs started failing, and I received a message instructing me to reinstall Creative Cloud. After reinstalling, Apps function for a day or so, and then I start getting errors again:

"Adobe Creative Cloud, needed to resolve the problem, is missing or damaged. You can try to repair to fix the issue. If the problem persists, download and install the new copy from 'http://www.adobe.com/adobecreativecloudapp'."

So once again, I removed and reinstall.

No change - keeps getting repair prompts.

So after repairs and reinstalls - what else is there?

I've seen suggestions that its might be to do with not having the Anniversary update, however I have this installed up to the most recent release. Any light on why this error is happening?

How to review Installation Log files?

How to review installation log files?

If you're troubleshooting install errors for Creative Suite 5, CS5.5, CS6, or CC and the error occurred after you clicked Install, analyze the main installation log:

1-    Navigate to the log files in one of the following folders:

  • Windows 32 bit: \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
  • Windows 64 bit: \Program Files(x86) \Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
  • Mac OS: /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers/

The log file name includes the product name and install date, followed with”. log.gz." The extension .gz indicates a compressed format.

2-    Use a decompression utility such as Winzip or StuffIt to decompress the .gz file. Once uncompressed, the log file is a plain text file.

3-    Open the .log file using WordPad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac OS).

Note: By default, log files open in Console on Mac OS. Select all of the text by pressing Command + A, and then copy and paste it into a text editor before continuing.

4-    Scroll to the bottom of the log. Look in the -- Summary -- section for lines that start with ERROR: or FATALand indicate a failure during the installation process.

Or,

You may use the Find feature “CTRL + F” (Windows) & “Command + F” (Mac) and Type “Error” or “FATAL“in the search box, it will display results that indicate a failure during the installation process.

5-    For a list of possible errors that appear in your installation logs,

see Installation or launch log errors | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC.

How can I download and install Photoshop CC without Creative Cloud?

$

Hi All,

My colleague has purchased Photoshop CC license. When he want to install, we find it needs to install the Creative Cloud first.

Based on our security policy, any software related to cloud storage was strictly prohibited to installed on working computers.

Can we download and install Photoshop CC without Creative Cloud? How to make that?

I can turn off the Cloud Storage in the option, but this doesn't need any admin authority. So user can turn on it by himself. How to disable the Cloud Service?

creative cloud won't launch

I have now spent over 10 hours on the phone trying sort my problem out.  I have had 3 people from Adobe take control of my screen and still no solution.  They keep promising to call me back but no one ever does, I guess when they have your subscription that's where the support ends.

Basically I downloded CC app onto both my MacBook Pro and iMAc at different location home and office and downloaded a couple of apps Photoshop, Lightroom and Muse on Saturday on both computers no problem..  The little cloud icon was in the top tool bar and even had a few updates to download on the Sunday. However on Monday this icon has disappeared and Creative Cloud won't launch and I cannot download any apps.  They have tried allsorts, taking control of my screen 3 times, deleting stuff, repairing permissions, installer creative cloud cleaner etc etc and still nothing.  They asked me to send 30 odd log files to them yesterday to <E-mail address removed by Moderator> attention of somebody  called Sunit.

Have just called the tech support number as nobody has called me back.  Guess what, the log files they asked me to send which i did twice have been lost so now they want be to subit system info (again) just uploaded and 1236 page pdf.  They also wanted log files from the /tmp folder but unfortunately they aren't there as somebody from Adobe deleted them yesterday afternoon. What a shambles!  I have now not been able to work fro 3 days but apparently they appreciate my patience.  My pateience is rapidly running out.  Is there anyone out there from adobe who can help me please.  Adobe convinced me not to buy Creative Suite 6 (upgrade from Creative Suite 5) but go for Creative Cloud instead, now you have my money nobdy seems to be able to help.  Meanwhile my business is going down the tubes.

I have just been told now after being on the phone nearly an hour that it will be escaletd again and someone will call me back in 48 hours.  What a joke....I have already been promised 3 call backs since Sunday and no one has called me.

Can somebody from Adobe please help me as tech support appear unwilling to do so

thank you

david
