creative cloud installation Error 87

Hi there,

 

I am trying to install Creative Cloud desktop

 

I get the following error:

 

Another installer is currently running, which must be closed

Error code: 87

 

Running Windows 7 and I dont believe I have any other installers running

Creative Cloud won't start

After upgrading to the new creative cloud CC on my windows 7 lab top I am no longer able to open the creative cloud program on my computer. When I click on the CC icon on my lab top nothing happens. If i click on the CC icon on my lab top while checking the process in the task manager i can see that the Creative Cloud.exe *32 start but then stops after about a minute. I ran the cleaner and renamed the files like instructed, restarted my computer and downloaded and reinstalled the Creative Cloud program 4 times already but i a, still getting the same results.

 

Does anybody have a better suggestion or knows what's causing this to happen?

I have been trying to resolve this now for 10hours

I like to know if Photoshop CS6, Illustrator CS6, After Effects CS6, Audition CS6, Encore CS6 and InDesign CS6 are compatible with OS X El Capitan.

 

I need the response please for update my OS X.

Hi,

 

I have tried all day to install Photoshop CC 2015 and still no luck (Lightroom CC 2015 installed just fine). It gets to 42%, says extracting, then gives me "Installation failed" and the error message says:

 

Exit Code: 21

Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW021 ...

I have deleted PS, LR, and Desktop application, restarted, ran cleaner tool (told it to clean every adobe app it listed), re-installed Desktop app (LR downloaded fine again) and still PS CC 2015 won't download. I have the current version of the Desktop app (CC 2.1.1.110) and I have a Windows 8.1 64-bit OS.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Solution for AAM Updater Error : U44M1I210

After getting Creative Cloud a couple of days ago then running into Updater Error U44M1l210 over and over and making the mistake of calling tech support (which was no help - "just reset it / download from the site" - even though resetting does nothing and the site doesn't have all the updates AAM does), I've finally got a working solution.

 

Essentially it's a permissions issue. Not sure why it affects some and not others, but I was logged in as an administrator and it still failed to have permissions to update despite admin password entry.

 

So, here's what you do. You need to open AAM and Update with superuser permissions.

 

1. Open Terminal

2. Copy and Paste the following, then hit enter:

 

sudo "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/PDApp/core/Adobe Application Manager.app/Contents/MacOS/PDApp"

 

3. It will prompt you for your password, enter it.

4. The Adobe Application Manager will open with sudo (elevated/superuser) permissions.

5. Open one of your Creative Cloud programs.

6. Go to Help>Update...

7. The updater dialog will open. Update as normal, it will work this time.

Lightroom CC crashes

I have just downloaded Lightroom CC via Creative Cloud. I already have Lightroom 5 installed. The CC version crashes during launch on my iMac 27" late 2013. I have never had issues before. I have made a restart. Do I have to uninstall version 5 first ?

I have just downloaded photoshop cc on my main computer and now want to download on to my laptop but I can't see how to do this.

DW won't run - mfc110u.dll missing on PC - What should I try next?

I've just tried installing and uninstalling DW CC 3 times.  Once even on the actual Admin User Login account.

I keep getting the message "The program can't start because mfc110u.dll is missing from your computer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem".

I am running Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Any ideas what I could try to fix this issue?

to Brazilian friends, i´d like to write about the steps I done do make it works, in portuguese.

 

Enfrentei uma longa jornada em busca da solução para o erro 201 na instalação do Creative Cloud Destkop.

Durante a instalação, neste ponto:

Ocorria este erro:

Tentei TODAS as soluções propostas, inclusive aqui nos fóruns da Adobe, dentre as quais:

- Desativar firewall, Anti-virus, ambos simultaneamente (olha o perigo!).

- Criar regras especiais no firewall para as diversas soluções apontadas.

- Desativar o wi-fi e conectar via cabo.

- Desinstalar TUDO da adobe no PC (até o Adobe Reader), apagando todas as pastas.

- Criar outro usuário no windows.

- Executar o 'AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool' (apesar de não ter funcionado, achei interessante. fica aqui: https://helpx.adobe.com/br/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html)

NADA FUNCIONOU: erro 201 aos 50% da instalação.

 

Para piorar, tentei no notebook da minha esposa (cuja configuração é inferior ao meu VAIO i5) e... FUNCIONOU de primeira no windows 8.1 com firewall e anti-virus rodando normalmente, na mesma rede que a minha. Ai caramba!

 

Já estava no estágio que você está agora, pensando em: a) cancelar a assinatura; b) formatar tudo; c) trocar o computador; d) mudar de profissão e etc.

 

Encontrei a solução depois de muitas (e muitas) horas de pesquisa na própria Adobe aqui: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1847647

 

O que fiz, seguindo as instruções, foi simplesmente:

 

1) abrir a página de download do Photoshop Elements, aqui:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/photoshop-elements-downloads.html

 

Não baixar nada, apenas manter a página aberta (?! sim, isso mesmo que você leu)

 

2) Baixar o Creative Cloud Desktop completo em zip, do site da Adobe, aqui:

http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/KCCC/1/win32/ACCCx3_0_0_74.zip

 

3) Descompactar o .zip e executar o arquivo Set-up.exe.

 

Pronto! Funcionou. Já baixei todos os aplicativos que eu precisava da assinatura completa.

Error 204 when downloading Creative Cloud on Mac

I am unable to install Creative Cloud on my Mac (10.7.5). CC was previously installed, but after receiving countless errors when trying to upgrade, I uninstalled and am now trying to reinstall. I receive error code 204 and the message: There seems to be a problem accessing critical file/directory during download. HELP!

Creative Cloud won't launch on Mac OS 10.10.3

Using Mac OS 10.10.3 (latest updates installed) on a MacBook Pro retina (2014).

 

I've downloaded Creative Cloud and installed the software. But I tried to launch app, nothing happens. It wo n't launch. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Won't launch. Started up in Safe Mode. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Won't launch. I paid for year's worth of Lightroom and Photoshop use, but now I can't even download the software. WTF?
