Photoshop installation fail on Mac

Hi,

I am trying to install the trial version of the Photoshop app on my Mac machine running OS X 10.11.3.

On running the Photoshop installer, after filling out basic details, I get an error message saying "Sorry installation failed. Error Code: P1" and the installer exits.

I have tried available solutions listed in support:

1. Running cleaner tool

2. Uninstall CC app & reinstall

None of the above have worked. I could not find any specific information regarding this error code as well. Will appreciate help in resolving this issue.
