Yesterday I purchased a subscription for Photoshop and Lightroom which was on offer.
I downloaded CC and Lightroom automatically downloaded/installed without issue. I tried to install Photoshop and get the "Windows updates from Microsoft required to install this product are not available on this computer. Please install the required updates and try again." error.
My system IS up to date and after searching I found standalone installers for Photoshop (only 2015 version for whatever reason you haven't released 2015.5 files!)
Photoshop works but I feel cheated out of the update which is technically what I'm paying for right?
Today I thought I'd try the demo of Illustrator, I managed to download through CC without any problem... until I actually came to open the program and now I am faced with the "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing" problem.
I run windows 7 professional and I'll add that Lightroom (and Bridge) run/open without any issues... as does my Photoshop 2015.
This is incredibly frustrating as I require photoshop and would love to expand to illustrator someday. I hope my 7 day trial isn't over before this gets resolved.
Standalone installers would be INCREDIBLY helpful.
